Activity Building Smart Notebook 11

This is the start of a series of Smart Notebook 11 and Smartboard trainings. I am hopeful that each of these will not take long to learn and be very useful when you attempt to create content for your class and get your students up and using the board.

Intro to Google Drive

The switch to Google Drive came quickly. Now there are apps and offline capabilities. One thing to know first hand is the ability to load the Google Drive app only occurs when you are an administrator of a machine. That means students can not load the Drive app on a school machine. However, they can load it on any of their personally owned devices.

SnagIT 10 CAN Edit - with some Tweaks

If you are looking for that solution to the editing video dilemma, you may have one with SnagIT and Windows Live Movie Maker. Engage ALL Students with Smartboard

As part of my training, I devoted a little time to a less technical training and more application of technology. The presentation below is actually a set a screen shots from a Smart Notebook file. You will not see the interactivity, however please read the show notes to understand the presentation. There is a link to a Google Doc as well that outlines all the details of each slide. To view speaker notes, open the slide show in full screen and access the More drop down button. You will see an option to view speaker notes for each page.
